Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Protective Service Ambassadorto join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client`s site in Trent House, Station Street, Nottingham

The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the security requirements of the client whilst maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism through adherence to directions from the security management team and client.

Key Responsibilities:

Protective Services

- Regular patrolling to identify and report any Maintenance, H+S and Guarding issues using correct methods - D3, iCare, Email, patrolling tool (PDA).
- Be well turned out, polite and courteous at all times..
- Actively monitor CCTV to reduce risk to site and respond to SOC alarms, conducting thorough investigations of any suspicious activity/persons/vehicles or crime detected reporting to Police when required and escalating to Protective Services Manager.
- Operate Access Control Systems to prevent unauthorised access to Capital One premises.
- Familiarise yourself with Capital One operations and its Associates to build strong relationships throughout the business.
- Fully understand the SOP`s and Enterprise procedures keeping abreast of any changes and understand the escalation process.
- Base decisions on good Security practice and knowledge to take ownership of incidents that are not specified within the guidelines.
- Open Source Information - reporting any potential threats to client sites whilst also monitoring incidents and their escalation as they occur.
- Enrol onto the Protective Service Ambassador training (Inclusive of First Aid, Fire Awareness)
- Support the London Security team as and when required
- Use computer systems effectively in order to complete duties as required


Life Safety

- Respond to emergency incidents, showing awareness of prioritisation and delegation where required
- Take part in yearly Life Safety exercises Invac/Evac ensuring Battlebox is fit for purpose and operational
- Complete regular emergency preparedness testing, ensuring systems/equipment are operating correctly


Other Duties

- Understand and comply with Profile and Capital One policies and procedures, which may change over time
- Complete regular competency and emergency preparedness assessments as given by the PSP and attend annual refresher training
- Compile various reports as per the business requirements
- Escalate any Business continuity, law enforcement contact or compliance failings to the PSM
- Carry out any reasonable requests from the PSM or Client


Admin and Compliance

- Able to meet all vetting requirements
- Complete all Capital One CBT`s and contractual training requirements
- Adhere to SOP`s, Enterprise procedures, H+S documentation and information retention policies at all times
- Hold current SIA License(s); Guarding or DS and Public space surveillance (CCTV)
