Training
When you start your employment with us, we"ll sit down with your immediate supervisor and identify any training requirements. We may send you on external training courses, run by leading industry experts, set you up with access to web based training courses, or send you on training that our clients provide. We will also provide you with a budget to spend on your own personal development, for courses which you are attending outside of the working week, this might be for University courses, language courses, etc. We"ll review your skillset and training each year, and make sure we can develop you where necessary.
Your Career Development
We work on long term projects, which may be broken down into small phases of between 6-12 months. However, projects will often be ongoing, and role on year to year. Consequently we"re after engineers who are prepared to make a long term commitment to us. We want to develop you in your role, to turn you into a technical expert, with deep knowledge of the specialist area you"ll be assigned to. This means we"ll want you to stay in your role for as long as possible, we won"t want to move you every year or two. We"ll progress your salary as your experience, skillset, roles and responsibilities grow. Your salary will be reviewed each year, and we publish a salary scale, so you can clearly see how you will progress.

Tumarc is focused on supplying specialist engineers to the automotive industry, talented engineers with knowledge on the development and integration of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) into vehicles. Our core business operations are centred on Powertrain, Body, Chassis and Electrical Engineering.
Tumarc have a team of engineers working in automotive assembly plants and research and engineering centres throughout Europe. We are responsible for specifying the functionality on Electronic Control Units (ECUs), testing the software of prototype samples, and ensuring they conform to the necessary standards.
Our engineers perform various roles, including System Engineering, Integration Engineering, Diagnostics Engineering, Feature Engineering, Quality Engineering, Hardware Integration Engineering, Software Integration Engineering, Project Control and Delivery, Project Management, and Documentation Control. We also provide engineering and IT support for production critical automated systems testing ECU"s in automotive assembly plants.
