We have been established in the UK since 1953 with Audi joining the Group in 1966, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles launched as an independent marque in the UK in 1998, Škoda joined the Group in 2001 and SEAT joined in 2002.

We don"t manufacture cars in the UK and we don"t sell them directly. We are the link between our factories across Europe and our franchised retailers across the UK who turned over £7.8bn in a declining market during 2011.

Our Head Office is in Milton Keynes, along with our National Learning Centre. We also have a central warehouse in Dordon, Staffordshire and a Customer Contact Centre in Leeds.

In the UK we are one of the largest importers of vehicles, employing nearly 600 people nationwide across franchising, marketing, customer service, operations, sales and fleet. With such a workforce, Volkswagen truly believe that "it's not just the car, it"s the people" that make the difference!
