The Wasdale Head Inn is the birthplace of Brirish Climbing and Walking. Nestled among some of the most beautiful and dramatic mountians in the UK, The Wasdale Head Inn is an oasis for tired and weary walkers and climbers.

We have an emphasis on good, home cooked food. Friendly staff and warm welcomes.

We have 13 letting bedrooms, and six self catering apartments. We also have a small campsite. We are very busy in the summer months, and can do upwards of 300 meals in a day.

We're very isolated here, with no mobile phone signal. It's a long drive from the nearest village, about 9 miles.
