Raasay House is a family business based in the newly renovated historic clan mansion on the unique island of Raasay. We are reopening in Easter 2013 after a fire & a complete refurbishment. We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our core team. Could this be you?
The right candidate will be responsible for the operation and administration of the office, booking system, client accounts and financial controls. You would also be in charge of the overall co-ordination of information to all departments of Raasay House, booking clients into both the hotel & the activities sides of the business.
You would have the opportunity to work in all areas of the office from financial recording, general administration, assisting with HR and be the point of contact with all other departments in the business.
Required Skills
Organised and reliable
Strong hospitality skills & confident customer service abilities
Excellent written and spoken English
Confident financial abilities, with great attention to detail and a good head for figures
Experienced in office environments
Able to initiate, prioritise and complete your own work
Excellent IT skills with good knowledge of M.S applications.
Desirable Skills
Experience with a hotel booking system,
General information: - We are a family business who for the last 25 years has been providing a unique island experience for staff & visitors to the Island of Raasay off the Isle of Skye. 30-40 hours are over 5 or 6 six day a week, statutory holidays, room in small cottage available with opportunities to join Sailing, Climbing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Archery, Coasteering & Mountain Biking.
Wages vary depending on position and level of experience
