Architectual Area Account Manager

Our client is looking for an Architectual Area Account Manager To promote and sell the use of our clients Architectural Ironmongery products over the telephone and achieving pre-agreed sales targets. To support existing clients, ascertaining their requirements and handling any issues raised in an appropriate manner and other work that may be required to benefit the day to day operations of the company.

Detailed Outline:

1. Generating new business through proactive outbound sales activity from a detailed existing company database
2. Liaising with existing suppliers
3. Ability to sell business to business in an outbound/inbound call centre
4. Ensuring company database is kept updated
5. Managing your own time effectively and planning your days workload
6. Maintaining relationships with existing customers whilst building rapport with new customers through appropriate propositions.
7. Using ethical sales methods, relevant internal liaison in order to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
8. Ensuring relevant administration and processing of sales is consistent
9. Ability to work to sales targets set
10. Ability to successfully work within a fast paced and busy team environment
11. Ensuring a detailed current and accurate knowledge of all products and services
12. Maximise profit at all levels
13. To support and help motivate your team whilst creating team morale and enthusiasm
14. Monitor your own performance daily alongside your line manager
15. To support your line manager in achieving targets and objectives when required
16. Ability to cross sell all products and services from other divisions
