Technical Capabilities:
Talented Junior Web Developer required to maintain and develop client websites using the web product frameworks utilising HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, ASP.NET and MS SQL Server.
The junior web developer will be working as part of a team, gathering requirements and manage expectations, whilst maintaining application and coding standards.
Your role will require you to add value to the department by suggesting and implementing processes and development improvements and aiming to keep your own skills and the department at the cutting edge of technology and usability.
Ensure that all work follows appropriate standards and conforms to agreed quality plans.

Junior Web Developer - Person Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and be autonomous and proactive in solving problems.
Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment, and be a highly organised individual with the ability to multi-task and have a high attention to detail.
Analytic skills and logical approach to problem solving.
Delivery focused with flexible approaches to delivery, implementation and consultation.
Transact SQL skills and experience of Stored Procedures.
HTML / XHTML and CSS skills.
Use of Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience working with Internet Information Services involving permissions.
Creating/maintaining ASP.NET web applications and their required hosting environments.

The Department is responsible for the implementation and support of Web products. The team is currently implementing new processes that will challenge and support the ability to deliver to the customer base a product that fulfils requirements and exceeds the customer experience. These changes will be challenging and require commitment and flexibility during the implementation.

Responsibilities:
The junior Web Developer will be responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining the company’s client facing web applications and other implementation activities and initiatives.
Assist the company to achieve and maintain the best applications in the industry.
To deliver excellent customer service and strong business knowledge into day to day operation.
Assist in designing and building solutions from conception through to delivery, whilst being flexible and having a can-do mentality.
You will design, test, document and maintain customer facing web applications and sites.
Assist colleagues in estimating development time for projects.
Take responsibility for ensuring that all mandatory work carried out is produced to the required standard and format.
You will work closely with all members of the development, support and sales teams, including project management and technical support.
