About the role

Due to continued expansion new opportunities have arisen for experienced Domiciliary Care Assistants to join an established care agency within the Derby area.

We are looking for either full or part time care assistants; with the added option of overtime. Carers will work with existing and new clients in and around Allestree, Darley Abbey, Quarndon and Duffield.

Working as part of a friendly team, you will deliver person centred care in the client’s home.

Responsibilities include supporting clients with:

Washing & bathing using their preferred methods
Toileting requirements and incontinence needs, whilst maintaining their privacy
Administering medication
Providing companionship, shopping trips, daily tasks, appointments
Meal preparation

Salary £9.70 per hour (Monday –Friday 7am – 8pm) to £10.70 per hour (Sat, Sun, BH, and after 8pm at night).
35p a mile allowance.
Driving licence is essential and access to transport
Early shift: 7am - 2pm / Late shift: 4pm - 10pm
Alternate weekends required
Contracted Hours

16hrs: 3 days
20hrs: 4 days
25hrs: 5 days
30hrs+: 5 days (including 1 all-day)
