Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Childcare Practitioner to join our team of Tutor/Assessors. This exciting role will see you planning and delivering teaching to groups of learners working towards their L2 Certificate or L3 Diploma for the Children and Young Persons Workforce. You will be responsible for a caseload of learners across South London and will design and deliver lessons, assess competence in the workplace, assess knowledge through portfolio evidence and provide support and advice to ensure learners progress and achieve. Apprenticeships include delivery of Functional Skills so learning in Maths, English and ICT is incorporated into all teaching sessions. This is a home-based role which requires regular travel to workplaces in the South London area. Teaching days are mainly on Saturdays – tutors can expect to work 3 Saturdays a month with lieu days being taken in the following week.
