Job Description

Negotiable Salary

Our client is a manufacturer and a leading designer of specialist construction equipment. They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their vibrant team.

Duties:

• Detailed design of conception mechanical drawings from concept stage through to production stage
• Developing and re-developing of new products
• Amendment of existing products
• Project management from concept to production
• Field trials
• Testing of prototypes
• Liaison with customers, engineers and shop floor staff

Qualifications/requirements:


• HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years working experience in Solid works/AutoCAD
• Knowledge of the pipeline/gas/oil/water industry
• Experience in taking ownership of a project

This exciting and varied role would suit a dynamic and creative individual that enjoys running a project from initial concept stage through to final production not afraid of taking ownership and getting stuck in.
