Job Description

Reporting directly to the Site Agent, the role would suit an experienced Engineer with good technical ability and setting out skills.

The candidate would be expected to:

Liaise with the site foreman & Agent on a daily basis to maintain progress of work & and provide progress updates.
Setting out of the works – Basic setting out, but essentially critical.
Ensure the safe construction of the works to specification and to programme.
Produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Ensure that the RAMS are developed are communicated to all who will carry out or may be affected by the operation and that the systems are implemented.
Ensure that records are kept for work performed problems experienced, labour force in each area, communications to/from client, sub-contractor and third parties.

Person Specification

5 years construction.
Detailed knowledge of setting out.
Some experience on nuclear decommissioning sites.
Temporary works experience.
Lift supervisor/appointed person.
Scaffold inspection experience.
