Finance Manager / Accountant

An experienced Accountant / Finance Manager is required for a growing organisation in the Mansfield area. This is a key role within the business who are undergoing significant growth and are looking for a strong Finance Manager capable of producing detailed management reports, who has worked previously in industry and been instrumental in guiding a company via the reporting and analysis of all areas of the finances.

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing the accounts department and overseeing and mentoring 1 accounts assistants on top of that your daily duties will include:
Undertaking a monthly Payroll
Formulating and implementing professional finance strategies, policies and practices
Assisting the directors with making key financial decisions for the business
Promoting strong financial control and cost control within the business
Budgeting and Forecasting
Monitor capital and special expenditure authorisation, expenditure and reports.
Business Risk reporting and maintenance of internal controls
Drive continuous improvement
Pro-actively working with other departments to reduce costs where possible
