The below job description will outline this position of: Fitout Project Manager



Typically, this person will be leading a team of both permanent staff and contractors to install high end interiors on luxury yachts and commercial projects. This role will involve a lot of travelling to and from projects.

Duties and responsibilities of the Fitout Project Manager (Marine):

Oversee and manage all phases of interior fitout projects for superyachts, ensuring delivery meets high-quality standards and client specifications.
Coordinate with project teams, including designers, engineers, and craftsmen, to plan and execute fitout schedules and milestones.
Ensure strict adherence to budgets and timelines, proactively addressing any delays or budgetary concerns.
Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor the quality of work, compliance with marine safety standards, and adherence to design plans.
Collaborate closely with client representatives and project stakeholders to communicate progress, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
Review and interpret detailed technical drawings, specifications, and materials to guide fitout operations.
Identify and resolve design, technical, and logistical challenges during fitout stages, ensuring smooth and efficient project flow.
Maintain a comprehensive record of project progress, including status reports, quality control documentation, and budget tracking.



Qualifications and requirement for the Fitout Project Manager (Marine):

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or certification in Interior Design, Marine Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Professional experience with CAD software or other design tools.
Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
Confident in leading multi nationals teams both permanent and contractors.
Must be able to travel because you will be required to work on a split between Dubai and Germany.
