Job Description

My client is a manufacturing business of component parts into the Automotive Industry. They supply blue chip OEM clients worldwide and are experiencing significant growth in their market place. The business has continually invested in new plant and machinery, and as such possess a world class processing capability.

You will be required to manage the strategic and operational performance of the Quality department, ensuring the successful delivery of business strategy, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives whilst adhering to regulatory compliance and achieving commercial success. You will also be required to establish and maintain key customer relationships that are both internal and external.

The successful candidate will have extensive working knowledge of TS16949 quality standards as well as a detailed understanding of the Engineering industry, which is essential for this role. You must also be able to implement quality tools including PPAP, APQP, PFMEAs and 8D techniques. Managerial experience is a necessity, a degree in an engineering discipline would be advantageous.
