We are a forward thinking IT consultancy based in Fife who provide support services to a national and international client base. This includes remote support, remote backup, systems management, ADSL, VoIP and a dedicated helpdesk service. We now require a motivated and dynamic individual to take on the role of Helpdesk Engineer to provide support to clients as part of our helpdesk team. Our clients predominately run Microsoft Server based systems and utilise various Microsoft technologies including MS Exchange, SQL and Hyper-V. Duties and Responsibilities •Troubleshooting and resolve problems with PC’s and servers.•Provide remote assistance to system users for PC related issues.•Perform PC and server upgrades, maintenance and installations.•Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems.•Provide good customer service via telephone and email.•Provide first and second line support to
