Job Description
Job Title: Internal Sales Engineer
Hours: 37.5 hours per week excluding lunch break
My client has an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Engineer. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven individual to join a well established supplier of quality valves and actuators within the engineering industry.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills written and verbal, a positive and professional telephone manner, high attention to detail and be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy. The ability to communicate at all levels is key within this role as you will be liaising with a variety of people such as the Managing Director, suppliers and customers.
Product knowledge and technical sales experience in Valves and actuators and ‘Pipeline Products’ or related industries would be hugely beneficial but candidates coming from a vertical market will be considered.
Candidates must be educated to at least GCSE or O level standard any additional qualifications or technical ability within this sector would be desirable.
Key responsibilities will include:
Inbound and outbound sales calls
Providing quotations
Generating and progressing purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes
Checking stock levels
Collating and producing spreadsheets for sales reps figures and new account information.
Effectively resolving customer and supplier complaints
This role would be providing office based support so strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential.
