Linux C Software Engineer – NAS Operating System Development

Graduate C and C++ software engineers required.

You will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, testing and performance of NAS operating system software for new HP products in the data protection arena.

Your role will be pivotal in the successful development of a range of new data storage products based on C/C++ code on a customised Linux server kernel.

Innovation is key as you design and develop major functional and performance enhancements for existing products and produce new software products and tools.

Your primary goal will be to develop network attached storage, data de-duplication and data replication software for a family of enterprise level HP data storage products.

You will join a team with world leading expertise and experience in development of C and C++ for computer systems.

You will also be responsible for the management of product defects for released products and product in development. This will involve triage of incoming defects, allocation to appropriate development teams and tracking through the analysis and resolution process.
