Rapidly expanding provider of precision engineered assemblies for a range of industries including Oil & Gas, Petro-chemical & Aerospace, our client prides itself on its product innovation and ability to deliver and service a very demanding and discerning global client base. In order to maintain a competitive edge within this highly aggressive market place they now seek to recruit a proven Maintenance Engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor into a role with wide ranging responsibilities.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role will be a mix of hands on repair and maintenance of CNC controlled manufacturing machinery, as well as the Project Management of machine relocation to new premises and the installation of new machines to the value of c£2m.

Furthermore, working alongside the Engineering manager, your role will be to positively affect the ongoing cultural change within the machining department, leading form the front with PPM scheduling, continuous improvement projects as well as the ability to remain hands on (mechanical and electrical) with the latest CNC machinery.

Applicants must have experience in the repair of CNC controlled machinery and have a “can do” attitude. This appointment is pivotal to the continued growth and development of the organisation and hence positive performance will result in further career development in the medium term.
