The ideal individual will have worked within the reseller community and have a strong, demonstrable track record of winning new business as well as the ability to quickly build and develop business relationships with their prospective clients. The initial focus of the role (the first 3 months) will require a high level of new business activity. So an existing contact/account base will be invaluable. This will be focused on cold calling and campaign/launch driven leads. The conversion of these leads into accounts will then require a shift towards account management and relationship development to achieve GP figures of £10-15k minimum. The identification of the relationship based sales skills will be a key factor in assessing the suitability of a potential candidate. It is expected that the successful candidate will be highly motivated, very professional and committed. It is unlikely that anyone moving employments frequently will be suitable as many of the skills required are based around the ability to develop long term relationships.
