Eaton's Aerospace business in South Molton, Devon has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant qualified/part qualified CIMA /ACCA to join the Finance Team. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Plant Controller in the consolidation and analysis of the South Molton Plant Financial and Operational information. Respond to requests and ensure timely and accurate submission of information and supporting analysis and schedules to Plant Leadership Team, Value Stream Management and FSD Headquarters. Consolidate and analyze Plant financial and operational information to provide Accurate and Timely submission to Plant Controller and FSD Headquarters. Prepare consolidated Commentary and Variance Analysis to satisfy Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Forecast requirements, to provide fully supported, accurate and timely information to Plant Leadership Team, Value stream Management and FSD Headquarters.

Provide Market Analysis for Sales and Order Book profiles with detailed support. Assist Plant Controller in Annual Profit Planning and Strategic Planning cycles. Review Schedules and respond to Reporting requests to provide a consistent quality of information flow. Ensure South Molton Plant awareness of upcoming reporting deadlines and co-ordinate activities to ensure adherence to deadlines. Monitor and maintain Compliance with Eaton Corporate Policies and Procedures and provide guidance where appropriate. Monitor and maintain Sarbanes Oxley compliance and assist with internal SOX auditing. Assist in the preparation of the monthly Forecast Income Statement and Balance Sheet based on sound financial judgment and assimilation of factual data, and ensure accurate upload to the Encore reporting system. Assist in journal processing and account reconciliation to the Oracle Finance system, with accurate and fully supported detail enabling Balance Sheet reviews.

Assist in the preparation of the Capital Forecasts, Plans and Administration. Interrogate the MFGPRO manufacturing system to provide detailed report commentary and accurate upload to Oracle / Encore financial reporting systems. Measure, identify and explain all variances including but not restricted to PPV, MPV, Scrap and material utilisation to provide clear explanations for the variances and assist in the implementation of systems and practices to ensure non-recurrence where appropriate, working in conjunction with the Value Stream managers and providing constructive feedback.

Ensure Work Order closure is timely and accurate to facilitate variance analysis. Prepare Sales to Margin analysis in detail to include key elements for key platforms, fit types and customers, to facilitate review, commentary and sound planning and forecasting. Reconcile and report South Molton Inventory position considering inventory reduction initiatives on site to assess and their effectiveness to facilitate accurate forecasting and inventory planning.

Review Excess and Obsolete Inventory monthly to assess adequacy of provision and adherence to Eaton Financial Policies. Understand, Develop and Review the overhead rates to ensure accuracy of inventory costing and reporting. Monitor and feedback the result of the Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives on site, providing detailed reporting on Cost Out Activities ensuring their accurate and timely reporting through the Corporate Cost Out Database to ensure accurate metrics are maintained and facilitate progress feedback reports to Value Stream Management. Assist in the preparation of the Key Metrics Balanced Scorecard and participate in analysis and review of the data.
