Our client is a large, established manufacturer based in the south of Hampshire; their site is easily commutable from Havant, Emsworth, Southampton, Fareham, Waterlooville, Portsmouth, and surrounding areas.Our client is looking for Master Production Scheduler the salary for this role is circa £49’000 per annum plus benefits. Applicants must have experience within a large manufacturing organisation supplying to commercial/industrial markets as a Master Scheduler or Lead/Principal Scheduler position.You will need to have a proven track record of defining and forecasting KPI’s and Material Usage. Experience chairing meetings and presenting, able to map systems transactions to lean processes. You must have worked within a similar role within a large company, production experience is essential. The RoleDefine and forecast business KPI’sBudget stock value and forecast material usageCoordinating flow of work within or between departments in the factory across all departmentsProduce and implement detailed production schedules, set working capacities to determine sales windowHost meetings with department supervisors/managers to determine progress of work and completion datesCompile reports on progress across the factoryTake responsibility for defining optimised stock levels, ensure stock value meets needed availability for salesDefine BOM requirements and structureForecast the trends in product consumptionDefine and maintain KPI dataReview existing documents, such as production schedules, work orders, labour levels, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.
