Job Description

Our client is a major manufacturer based in the Fareham area who supply leisure and commercial markets. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a temporary 4 month contract. The rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience but is expected to be circa £24 per hour (please call/email for limited rate). You will be managing your own projects and liaising with customers to design new products or modify existing products ready for manufacture. On occasion you may be require to visit customer sites.

Qualifications/Experience:

You will need to have worked recently as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a manufacturing environment
Recent experience of 3D design using Solidworks, you will need to be competent
Qualified to HNC or above within an engineering/manufacturing discipline
You will need to have experience in injection moulding (design) and enclosure design
Experience dealing directly with customers/clients
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and ability to explore this
Full UK driving licence for occasional travelling
