Job Description

Due to several large contract wins we are currently recruiting a number of Mechanical Assembly Fitters to join our client on a permanent basis in North Yorkshire. These opportunities will be based on days between Monday & Friday on a shift rota basis. These roles will be available for experienced apprentice trained Mechanical Fitters who are looking for a permanent role within a well-established and well known organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hydraulics and forming own pipework. Overtime is available being paid at premium rates.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of detailed high value assemblies produced for the Oil & Gas sector
• Previous experience working in a medium to heavy engineering environment would be an advantage.
• Good all-round experience with hydraulics assemblies, pipework, and general component assembly
• Using a range of valves and pumps for each assembly
• High pressure testing experience would be an advantage
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and have excellent attention to detail
• Must be confident working with and reading engineering drawings
