Motion Graphics Editor - Events

Based in Hertford

£30,000 + Bens




Job Objectives

Edit video/audio content in response to internal and external briefs;

Create motion graphic content for use within internal and external projects;

Provide creative input in response to client and internal briefs and for pitches;

Liaise with other members of the team to ensure every aspect of content creation runs smoothly;

Liaise with clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to their satisfaction;

Assist with managing suppliers and freelancers to ensure quality products/services are delivered on time and in budget;

Complete all relevant administrative processes efficiently (eg: log sheets, time sheets)

Research and implement new/updated products, programmes and solutions;

Stand in for the Head of Media when required and provide cover for other members of the Design team (currently 2 people) when they are away from the office;

Assist in the collation of accurate action plans to aid project management, timelines, media composition schedules, show running orders, cue sheets, crew packs and storyboards;

Work effectively with all other permanent and freelance team members, especially the event and technical producers



Events and projects could include:

Film

Keynote and Powerpoint

2D, 3D, animation, CGL, motion graphics and multimedia

Conferences and Corporate Events

Private Parties

Product Launches

Award Ceremonies

Live and Music Events

Overseas Events



Candidate Requirements



Must be an experienced user of Final Cut Po and After Effects editing software;

Must be able to self produce/direct;

Experience of shooting, lighting, sound would be handy, but is not essential;

Similarly, experience of HTML would be handy, but is not essential;

Creativity is vital! We are looking for someone who can bring innovation and new ideas at all stages of the process, including at pitch stage.

The role is not primarily client facing, but candidates must have the confidence and personality to make a good impression with clients when required;

The ability to build strong working relationships across the whole team is also very important;

Must be excited by the prospect of working in a small but gradually expanding team and be willing to multi-skill and adapt to rapidly changing requirements;

Needs to be willing to work unsociable hours where necessary and to travel within the UK and overseas if required, possibly for several weeks at a time.



Reward

Salary up to of £30K/annum + profit related bonus paid twice/year subject to performance.

Potential for paid overtime

25 days holiday/annum + Bank Holidays
