Job Description

(12 hour continental shift working – days & nights).

My client has an excellent reputation with the automated warehouse sector, with a large highly-automated depot in Hatfield. They are currently recruiting an engineer to join a large multi-skilled on-site technical support team.

The role involves mechanical and electrical fault finding on automated machinery and lifting equipment. Preventative maintenance and continuous improvements. PLC experience (Siemens S7) beneficial as would be the ability to work at heights. Working within a highly automated environment;
- materials handling equipment
- conveyors
- PLC controlled equipment : Siemens S7
- Electric Forklift Trucks

Please bear in mind that this is large site and applicants should be physically fit and comfortable working at heights.

Applicants must also be prepared to work a demanding continental shift pattern; 7am – 7pm Thursday to Wednesday, 7 days off, 7pm-7am Thursday to Wednesday, 7 days off, repeating.
