ABOUT LONG RANGE SYSTEMS UK LTD:
LRS is an on-site pager manufacturer with over 20 offices around the world. HQ is in Dallas TX, USA. We are famous for supplying over 30 industries in the UK including some of the largest corporate accounts.

We are looking for DYNAMIC outbound telesales professionals who will be dedicated to the job of selling in the UK.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Telesales of on-site paging systems to small and corporate business.

Skills include a complete knowledge of paging equipment made by LRS (Training Given).

Identification of exact customer requirements.

Location of decision maker at the purchasing company.

Understanding all costs and ability to communicate.

Effective communication with decision makers.

Complete ability to develop quotations from templates supplied and formulate for customer.

Closing business deals with customers.

Follow up ability to liaise with customer and support department if necessary.

Attendance at trade shows (2-3 per year) including setup, demonstrating and selling, packing up and unloading back at base including storage of equipment.

The ability to drive with a satisfactory licence condition.

The ability to communicate at ALL levels of staff within the LRS UK offices and Dallas HQ from time to time.

This position requires you to achieve your minimum sales target of £20k per month. All employees are taken on with a nine months probationary period after which suitable applicants who meet the LRS requirements will be offered a long term contract of employment.

We reserve the right within the probationary period to terminate your employment if you are deemed by LRS UK to be unsuitable for the position in any way.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Complete understanding of how to use:

Microsoft Word
Microsoft Outlook
Sage Act Database
Sage Accounts (for sales procedures)
and other software as necessary

Full and complete ability to use computers in the job for all type of communications.

Knowledge of other IT aspects of computer networks such as Gateways, SMS Text, VPN technologies and any other aspects of computer networking is an advantage because we sell products that can integrate or use those technologies.

Telesales experience in OUTBOUND sales preferably within a telecommunications, IT or paging industry related company. We will require provable results of your abilities in sales.

The ability to utilise LRS selling techniques without deviance to the applicants own methods.

The applicant MUST have a driving license for the UK preferably clean.

We require at least two previous employer references in writing that show favourable comments on your employment and results while at that company.

A CANDIATE FROM A HOSPITALITY BACKGROUND WOULD BE A VERY GOOD ADVANTAGE
