Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Night Porter at the 4 star Hallmark Hotel Gloucester. We are looking for an individual who understands the importance of hospitality and customer service.

You will assist the Night Manager in the safety and security of the hotel and its guests throughout the night, with key responsibility including: assisting guests with their luggage, delivering newspapers to guests as required, cleaning of public areas and the breakdown and set up as required of function rooms to meet the requirements of the day to day operation of the hotel.

Previous experience of working in a hotel environment or in a similar role would be preferred, but full training will be provided to the right applicant .It is essential that as a Night Porter you have a smart appearance and you are physically fit. You should be able to work independently and have a good attention to detail. It is desirable that you have first aid and food hygiene qualifications, however these can be provided.
