Market leading metallurgical business supplying high integrity components into industries including Oil & Gas, Automotive and Construction, seeks a forward thinking Operations Director/ General Manager. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, the role carries full P and L responsibility for the manufacturing operations of the business. With multiple sites, the business is within commutable distance of South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The ideal candidate is likely to come from a “Heavy Engineering” background such as Steelworking and will ideally have experience of processes such as CNC Machining, Casting and Forging. The key challenges of this role will be driving discipline, adherence to the lean road map and key process changes; driving out waste and improving overall output.
