PAYROLL CLERK / ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Ron Hull Jnr Ltd, specialists in Total Waste Management and Demolition Services, are seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Clerk with experience in all aspects of Finance Ledgers. Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant the role will be initially to cover maternity leave with the possibility of a full time permanent role for the right calibre of applicant.

A hands-on approach will be required to support the various sectors of operation. Duties will include the processing and submission of 4 weekly payrolls totalling around 120 employees. To maintain and update payroll processes, deal with payroll queries, production and filing of all P45’s/P46’s to Revenue & Customs, maintaining and updating annual holiday entitlements and ensuring they are paid within the companies T&C’s. Other duties will include processing invoices both on Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger System and operating the BACS system for all payments both Payroll and Supplier. Any other Payroll / Finance duties as required by the business

The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable in approach to work with the ability to multi-task.
Should be meticulous and accurate with excellent attention to detail. Must be a good communicator, be highly organised with the ability to prioritise, quick learner, process driven, team player.

Good strong Knowledge of IT Systems and experience using the Opera 11 system would be an advantage.
