You will be responsible for a number of schemes at any one time, taking each scheme from conception to post-completion with no snags. You will ideally have a strong professional background in Manchester’s commercial interior fit out sector, with experience of managing staff, sub-contractors, and client relationships as part of a team together with both office and site-based staff.In particular, you will be expected to:• Manage Redbridge Interiors contracts from inception through to completion ensuring that the agreed program, gross profit and quality are delivered.• Appoint appropriately qualified sub-contractors to carry out contract works and authorise payments subject to Redbridge terms and conditions.• Ensure that all orders are placed upon the Redbridge purchase order system and that a weekly valuation, contract report and program are produced indicating the status of each contract discussed with the Redbridge Managing Director on a weekly formal meeting.• Manage Redbridge and sub-contract staff upon site and ensure that all staff follow health and safety management and site rules.• Attend weekly site meetings with client and present valuation, contractors report and programme.• Appoint suitably qualified Redbridge and sub-contract in liaison with Redbridge Managing Director.• Develop new business opportunities in conjunction with Redbridge Managing Director, Quantity Surveyor and Health and Safety Manager.• Any other reasonable duties as agreed.
