Our client, a leading provider of port stevedoring, warehousing and transport services, urgently wish to recruit a Quality Manager to be based in their Goole office managing their ISO9001:2008QMS and other industry related accreditations. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for managing the quality accreditations at their sites in the Humber and Birkenhead on the Mersey. You will be responsible for ensuring that all KPI's are achieved and H&S procedures are adhered to. This role requires a pro active Quality Manager who will be actively involved in the activities of the Company across their business. A strong work ethic is essential in this role in order for the successful candidate to integrate with and meet the demands of the business. The successful candidate will be able to: •Manage all aspects of the ISO9001:2008 Quality Systems including writing procedures, conducting internal audits. •Deal with customer complaints including root cause identification, corrective and preventive actions and ensuring they are implemented and documented. •Identify Quality Objectives and develop KPIs to monitor performance. •Arrange and chair Management Review meetings and safety committee meetings at all sites. •Manage our other accreditations and relevant documentation relating to storage of fertilizer (FIAS) and food/feed products (TASCC). •Liaise with our clients competent advisor for Health and Safety. •Carry out Risk Assessments, develop Safe Systems Of Work for all activities. •Communicate effectively across all levels of the Company to ensure compliance with our clients systems and accreditations. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding business, whose organisation and structure will allow ample opportunity for the right candidate to develop professionally. This position is based at our clients Goole office, with regular visits to their Head Office in Birkenhead and other sites expected. Primarily working between the hours of 7.30am – 5.30pm (half hour lunch), Monday to Friday.
