We are a National Catering Company, looking for a sales representative in the Milton Keynes and Bedford area, with a positive, mature character to represent us, look after our customers and win over new prospects for our Jasper's Operation. You will operate both face to face and over the telephone with customers and prospects. You will be part of a small team and must be able to manage yourself and your time – you will be trusted to manage yourself on a daily basis. We are flexible in the hours you work providing you are respectful of your job and our requirements. Your stated working hours will be primarily Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm with half hour for lunch. We have no problem with you achieving more at the start of the week in order to finish early on a Friday. You will have targets to achieve that we will set with each other after training; we are a very open and honest small business. We do not like office politics and always want people to be open and constructive in communications. All your ideas and contributions will be treated as valuable and considered. We aim to provide companies in the Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire area with "delivered in" corporate catering services for meetings, training and so on, we also aim to provide some companies with on-site services. We are looking for friendly, confident individuals who really enjoy meeting lots of new people and building positive relationships. Your main role will be finding out the catering needs of decision makers in the business world, following our procedures and ensuring that suitable solutions are provided. Our customers place repeat orders and are at the heart of our business. This role is perfect for an individual who is relaxed, comfortable with themselves and other people, who can adapt and develop to complement different clientele and situations and enjoys listening to needs and implementing solutions. •A full driving license is required. •You will be based in Northampton servicing the Milton Keynes and Bedford area (from time to time and during your training you may be required to travel elsewhere in the UK). •You must have excellent communication, organisation and administration skills. •You must have IT skills in Word, Excel and some basic Power Point. •You must be positive, friendly, enjoy people and building long term relationships. •You must love learning and enjoy the challenges that come with such role. •You should have an interest in food and people. •You must also want a job that you can enjoy, where the employer trusts and respects you and your role and where what you do will really count and make a difference.
