Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer (PSV/PRV) to work for an international Oil and Gas client based in Aberdeen. Due to continuous growth, they are looking to add to their existing team. The successful candidate will be required to provide project management and technical support to both the customer and Asset Management Team by handling technical queries in relation to valve sizing, selection, pricing and service queries. The role will also involve preparation for large scale service contracts. Ideally candidates will have a background working with the valve sector working with PSV's. Excellent opportunity for progression.

Job Description

1 Co-ordinate customer and Internal technical queries, establishing a clear workscope, timely/appropriate response .

2 Co-ordinate workload to ensure timely responses to meet customer requirements.

3. Maintain Asset Management Database information as required to ensure accurate stocks, valve maintenance data, tag and product information.

4 Attend customer contract meetings to provide technical support.

5.Expediting parts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

6.Participate in other role related or non related activity as required by any member of the UK Service Teams

Candidate Skills
• Ideally candidates will be Time Served OR degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
• Must have a technical understanding - Controls Valves - preferably PSV's.
•Able to work under pressure meeting set targets
•Computer competent (Word and Excel)
•Preferably a background from within the Oil & Gas / Valve industry
