PURPOSE
The role holder will lead projects and own the success of their own workstreams.
They will demonstrate the ability to lead, mentor and Inspire Junior Members of the Team.
Working as lead, but also alongside a fast paced, multi skilled team to deliver projects, system enhancements, react to customer queries and requests.
The role holder should be able to identify and delegate lower level tasks to more Junior members of the Team. Plus assist other Senior Team members with iterations and sections of larger projects.
You will demonstrate the ability to work with an innovative mindset, learn new skills and continue to grow and develop.
You will be supporting the complete software development lifecycle using various technologies.

You will have a desire to utilise your problem-solving skills to support technical challenges whilst encouraging others to demonstrate the same.

You will also work alongside our Graphic Design Team to ensure that the visual aspects of our software, customer Interfaces, training material and reporting is dynamic and engaging.

You will come up with ideas for new business development, product pipelines and lean developments to improve existing software.
You will ensure any output meets design specifications and is fully tested and correct.
You will demonstrate high attention to detail and excellent time management skills – delivering projects or tasks on time, be able to communicate SMART plans. You will track and report on progress to the Senior Leadership Team and any slippage should be escalated with budget/loss of profit reportable.
Builds positive relationships with customers, is the point of contact and identifies service improvements and opportunities.
Is financially aware and ensures there is nil leakage.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keeping up-to-date with the latest development trends and technologies.
• Assisting Senior Developers with delivery of projects as part of the Team, but also delegation of tasks to, and leadership of Junior Developers/Designers
• Taking on other work as and when required
• Seeking out tasks to ensure you are fully utilised at all times, ensuring the same of Junior Team Members
• Delivers projects on time, which operate as specified, delivers the desired solution and ensures all elements and outcomes have been fully tested
• Demonstrates a passion for the role, technology and is willing and able to produce new ideas and ways of working
• Provides product and customer support where applicable
• Oversight and ownership - Coding of systems against an approved design, ensuring quality is maintained and design issues/concerns are raised as early as possible.
• Deliver on work packages and ensure outputs are delivered on time and to required quality standards
• Design Review and Code Review
• Leads on creation of, contributes to the visual design & development of documentation.
• Works effectively within the team, troubleshooting and resolving business critical challenges, acts as a mentor to ensure others do the same
