MRICS Senior Surveyor/Associate - Lease Consulting
The Position:

To strengthen our Manchester team, we are seeking a highly motivated and commercially aware landlord and tenant surveyor, who also has a good range of general practice experience including valuations.

The role will require undertaking a wide range of landlord and tenant working, including rent reviews and lease renewals in order to produce the best possible result for the client.

To undertake valuations, in support of the team as required.

Main Responsibilities:

To undertake rent reviews and lease renewals, on a range of property types including retail, office and industrial.

To carry out property inspections, conduct negotiations and where required, prepare third party submissions.

To use strong research and analytical skills to identify and interpret market rental evidence.

To be a strong and effective negotiator on the client’s behalf, to develop effective and long lasting relationships with our clients, using exceptional rapport building, questioning and summarising skills.

To use good organisational skills to manage and prioritise a busy and developing caseload.

To undertake valuations, in support of the team as required.


To develop and maintain a strong network of internal and external contacts and to use these contacts in order to further develop business.

Key Attributes and Qualifications:



MRICS Qualified

Prior experience in rent reviews and leased renewals

Good client management skills

Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure ad to deadlines on own initiative, and with no supervision.

A proactive approach to problem solving and ability to follow these through to a satisfactory conclusion.

Confident and self-motivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service.

High degree of analytical ability.

Good computer skills

Full driving licence

Personal Attributes

Well organised with excellent planning, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Good personal and professional manner in dealing with client contacts at all levels.

Working Hours:

The normal hours of work for this position are 0900hrs to 1730hrs, Monday to Friday. This position also involves out of hours working on an ‘as necessary’ basis.
