Job Description

Due to expansion we are looking to strengthen our engineering team by appointing a Software Engineer.

The main purpose of the role will be to design and test PLC and HMI software for a wide range of new and existing Automation Machinery. We predominantly use Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems which will often include servo motion control. Working as part of a team, you will be involved in the commissioning of machines at our modern manufacturing facility in Beccles. Following installation, you will be required to visit customer sites, throughout the UK and abroad, to complete commissioning and provide training. You will also be required to update documentation and produce operating manuals using the MS Office software suite.

We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic engineer who is capable of working to a high standard to provide our customers with a quality service. You will need to be a good communicator, capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be a good problem solver with the ability to develop new products and systems.
