As a Sous chef you would be expected to work in all areas of the kitchen, run your own section during service, supervise other staff, contribute to menu and dish development and stand in for the head chef in his absence.You must have strong all round kitchen skills. You need to work well within a small team and on your own. A understanding of kitchen management including stock control,ordering,Health and Safety and Hygiene.You will be a reliable,solid professional with a" can do" attitude and be passionate about you work. You must have experience in a similar busy fresh food environment and hold a current food hygiene certificate
