Overall ObjectivesManaging all brands B2B and B2C supply chain.procurement through to delivery to retail customers.Knowledge of unleashed software.Responsible for negotiating and administering contracts with supplying CompaniesSource, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and service levels with suppliersEnsure competent quality execution of all purchasing dutiesTo plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products and liaise with suppliersTo ensure all products, labels and manufacturing sites meet relevant food safety legislationTo manage the NPD pipeline and ensure products launched on timeKey Duties and Responsibilities• Minimum of 5 year experience in Supply Chain role with excellent reference.• Familiar with technical specifications of purchased ingredients.• Assisting in sourcing and costing NPD• Purchase 3rd party brands• Negotiate for the best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service)• Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing• Prepare reports and summarise data as required• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with prescribed quality standards and required schedules• Prepare and process, purchase orders and invoices as required• Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items from suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site on time• Establish contracts in line with customer requests and provide quarterly summaries of contract status• Provide purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing and summarising data and trends• Check and approve invoices for raw materials and finished product.• Verify receipt of orders to items ordered; resolve delivery errors with suppliers• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding all relevant issues.• Keep information accessible• Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.• Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities• Any other task agreed in negotiation with the ManagementEssential SkillsMust hold a full current driving license and be prepared to spend time away off siteStrong customer focus with enhanced analytical skillsStrong excel skillsInterpersonal and telephone skillsAbility to work as an individual or as part of a teamAbility to build strong relationships both internally and externallyAbility to make quick decisions, work in a fast-paced environment with the agility to respond to a rapidly changing environment is absolutely keyStrong prioritisation and organisational skillsStrong NPD backgroundGood knowledge of Food safety legislationExternal ContactsInternal ContactsCustomerSales TeamSuppliers of project related materials/goodsWarehouseDirectorsMarketing TeamQualifications/Experience Requirements5+ years supply chain management.Educational - Degree or equivalentDemonstrate working knowledge of specifications and Nutritional informationExcellent communication skills.Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word), E-Mail .Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems, preferably Xero, would be an advantageAmbitious and eager to developGood attention to detail.Food safety qualification (preferred)Job Type: Full-time
