Job Description

We are working with a Global energy services company who provide a wide range of Engineering, Production and Maintenance services to global Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries.

The Role

The Quality Engineer will ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (QMS), processes & procedures. Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Conduct internal quality audits and audits of suppliers as required
• Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and internal non-conformances to ensure effective root cause analysis
• Perform in-process and final inspections including generating compliance certifications
• Perform inspections of spare parts material
• Identify QMS improvement opportunities
• Assist as required in the training of inspection personnel
• Maintain good communications with internal/external customers and regulatory bodies
• Manage and communicate effectively process change within the QMS
• Compile statistical reports on quality metrics
• Provide general HSE administrative support which includes, but not limited to HSE training coordination & administration, HSE audits, HSE documentation control e.g. Risk Assessments
• Other duties as required by the Quality & Service Excellence Leader

The Person

The successful candidate will have a Degree or equivalent experience & certifications in quality management systems alongside extensive practical experience in the application of quality practices/processes with strong working knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001. Experience in the application of CAA & FAA 145 Regulations is preferred.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to manage and drive process change and be able to foster working relationships with people at all levels. HSE experience preferable but not essential, as training can be provided.
