Software Engineer (Test Automation/Development) based in Ireland

Primary Responsibilities:

• Candidates will work in a Contact Center and UC application team
• Candidates should be familiar with basic development languages and must have experience work with at least one scripting language, e.g. Perl, Python, Ruby.
• Works to become a subject matter expert in one or more areas of QA, and/or a relevant and appropriate technical domain.
• Develops complex and detailed oriented test automation across the Avaya suite from business requirement on all projects.
• Candidates will partner with other QA members and other external teams to work on devops, tool automation and software development.
• Candidates will have knowledge of all aspects of the test automation process and how it operates as part of the software testing process.
• Provides support to and works in line with business partners, analysts, QA associates and project managers.
• Creates, develops and evaluates Automation Test Strategies and Automation Test Plans
• Provides reports on all automation test regression runs.
• Candidates must have the knowledge and skills to design and code internal tools for use by the QA Team for tracking and testing products.
• Domain and technical leadership in at least one project area. Demonstrates deep understanding of the domain‘s impact on one or more projects.
• Candidates must have excellent written and communication skills and be detailed orientated.
