An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Translation Project Manager to join this small dynamic translations agency based in Sidcup. Reporting to the Director, you will handle all aspects of the client management process from initial enquiries; deliver quotes and proposals, through to selecting the most appropriate translator for the role and ensuring the final work is proof checked and of an accurate and high standard. You will have excellent administrative skills, and the ability to talk to clients both by telephone and e-mail. You will have experience of working in a project co-ordinator or manager role within a translations environment before, and ideally this will be within a translations agency. Experience as a translator would also be advantageous. Your duties as a Translation Project Manager will include: • Liaising with clients and linguists (by telephone and email) • Providing quotations to clients • Placing jobs and follow-up • Monitoring progress of projects • Quality checks and proof reading of translations • Issuing Purchase Orders to linguists and invoices to clients • Maintenance of schedules/progress sheets & other records • Organizing mail shots • Routine admin i.e. filing, faxing, photocopying, outgoing post
