Vacancy: User Experience Architect Vacancy Ref No: LC7526Location: BedfordshireSalary: IRO £50k DoeOverview:The main purpose of the User Experience Architect is to introduce the concepts, tools, techniques and process required to make User Experience a core element of the development lifecycle. This will require gaining buy-in and acceptance from all levels of stakeholder along with coaching and mentoring of the cross discipline project and Business Analysis teams to ensure cultural acceptance and inclusion as Business As Usual.• Responsibilities:• Provide guidance and leadership across the organisation as someone who truly understands and is experienced with everything that touches the front-end.• Provide expertise in the practical application of UCD (ISO13407) and its integration with other methodologies, in particular SCRUM (or other Agile methodologies).• Provide expertise in Information architecture / information design / interaction design for complex websites. • Articulate ideas orally, through written documentation, high and lo-fidelity prototypes, wireframes and graphic designs.• The designing, conducting and interpreting of usability tests• Define UX strategy and best-practices.• Communicate and integrate UX strategy and best practices with that of the larger organisation. • Be the front end guru to the teams - researching and advising on feasible front-end web technologies / tool choice / bespoke development / 3rd party components.• Be responsible for improving the teams working efficiency by developing and improving team working practices and providing a framework for others to work with. Eg.
