Warehouse Manager

1. Purpose of the Job:

Full ownership and management of the London Heathrow warehouse facility

To include: all administrative duties and processing of transit cargo and logistics operations in full compliance with Aviation Security, Dangerous Goods, ERTS Customs, AEO and all H&S / Legal requirements.

2. Key Activities:

To provide a timely and accurate transit / logistics warehouse services to support the group activities over a near 24/7/365 working period.

Achieve full compliance with Import ERTS arrangements, Dangerous Goods, Aviation Security including X-ray, AEO and Customs.

Regularly review existing workloads to ensure processes are fit for purpose.Question and promote ideas for change.

Ensure that revenues are secured for all workloads including transit, logistics and any special services / workloads provided

Ensure that the visual impression of the warehouse and yard image remains excellent at all time

Staff must wear uniforms and the appropriate personal protection equipment at all time.

Ensure that any damage, or non conformances, are fully investigated including any loading and labelling errors

Supply on time and accurate Bond check completion

Setting of a Margin and overhead budget in liaison with the local BUH.

To ensure that staff levels are planned accordingly and as part of the role to work and evaluate the different shifts on a regular basis.

Ensure mandatory training levels are achieved on time and are regularly reviewed.

Ensure that overtime and overheads are strictly controlled and not exceeded, subject to mitigating circumstances.

To cascade all relevant information to the department and to ensure that everyone is aware of the financial targets.

Comply with all core measurable KPI’s to include:

Financial housekeeping, purchase matching, timely invoicing etc

Totally support the Group’s Training and Education programme with specific emphasis on Staff induction and HR requirements, Customer Care, ISO , Dangerous Goods, Health and Safety, Aviation Security etc.

Ensure total compliance with all HR, Legal, Liability, Health and Safety, Security & Quality
