Job Description

Our client is looking for a Site Operations / Contract Manager to work 2 days of the week in Alconbury and 3 days in Felixstowe at their dual sites.
Main duties:
•To provide comprehensive and effective management of the Quality and Warehousing function of the business.
•To be the ‘mentor’ of the use of the SAP Solution within the warehousing environment.
•To ensure 3rd Party Operators adhere to strict codes of practice, contractual obligations and KPI measurement factors. Constant monitoring of activities and dealing with issues arising.
•To manage the financial implications relating to general day to day activities.
•To self manage the completion of daily, weekly and monthly tasks and ensure accurate recording.

Key Accountabilities:

•Ensure that all activities performed by the Quality Control and Warehousing Team, and the Stock Accountant, are complete and accurate.
•Provide financial analysis and in-depth reporting of budget variances and prepare financial audit justification.
•Be commercially and operationally aware of key statistics that ensure the smooth operation of the warehouses and where possible to identify issues before they arise.
•Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
•Be an effective third line systems support to the 3rd Party Warehousing operators, i.e. SAP troubleshooting.


Person Specification:

Ideally you will have spent time in a similar role, and desirably have some laboratory testing experience although this is not essential. It is imperative that you have advanced SAP experience, with extensive knowledge and expertise in this area. The ability to show time management skills and the ability to problem solve are also a distinct advantage. Advanced Excel skills are also essential.
