Our client is a highly regarded software solutions company with an enviable track record. Due to continued growth, vacancies exist for a Junior Web Consultant based at their offices near Marlow. This is a great opportunity to join a small team environment where you will participate in a variety of presales and consultancy work alongside Principal Consultants through to implementation on two of their products. You will gain experience taking prospect and customer requirements and delivering excellent software solutions.

The role may involve travel within the UK and overseas.

A valid driving license is essential.

Main duties/responsibilities

Analysis, configuration and programming on two new web products & will assist in preparation for demonstrations and be involved in implementation.
Product 1 – an application to build and maintain e-commerce websites deeply integrated with either of two Business solutions.
Product 2 - a web application delivered as a sidebar of information driven by context derived from company and other applications.
Respond to tenders, ITTs, RFIs etc.
Maintain pre-sales systems and prepare demonstrations.
Product quality assurance testing.
Installation, configuration and training.
Query resolution and liaison with support and development.
Perform customer upgrades.
Ability to advise on best practice.
Knowledge/experience

Personable with good communication skills.
Requires knowledge ordinarily acquired from a degree with IT content.
Knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, Windows, UNIX/Linux, Oracle, JSP, JavaScript, Visual C++, SQL, Google analytics.
Graphic design skills + previous web design skills.
Previous knowledge of ERP systems would be an advantage.
